Riches Hawley Mikhail was established in 2005 by Annalie Riches, Cathy Hawley and David Mikhail. We are a design led practice with a genuine enthusiasm and growing reputation for housing, working for both private developers and social landlords. We believe that really good design lasts and can be economically built. We also think that good housing should engender community and we strive to achieve that through all our work.
Our work has been widely published and exhibited in the UK and abroad. We are:
• Four times Housing Design Award Winners
• BD Housing architect of the Year 2009
• Mid-listed for the Stirling Prize in 2009 with our Clay Field Project
• Four times RIBA Award Winners
‘Affordable Housing is a sector sorely in need of innovation. In Riches Hawley Mikhail it has at last found an architect capable of taking on that challenge.’
Amanda Ballieu, Building Design, Nov 2009
Our Stoke Newington development is now complete.
